Bridging Innovation and Discovery in Bioengineering
Research Associate II at Sanford Burnham Prebys | MS In Bioengineering at UC San Diego | Graduate Researcher at Kravets Lab
About me
Annanya Sethiya, MS Bioengineering
I am a bioengineer passionate about unlocking the mysteries of human biology and advancing healthcare through technology. Currently working in Dr. Will Wang's Lab, my research focuses on spatial biology and the intricate role of cellular senescence in aging and disease. My academic journey from India to the United States has been fueled by an enduring fascination with how biology and engineering can converge to solve real-world medical challenges.
With a strong foundation in advanced bioengineering techniques and analytical approaches, I strive to bridge the gap between fundamental biological research and its clinical application. My work revolves around understanding complex biological systems at the cellular and molecular levels, contributing to innovative solutions in areas such as aging, tissue regeneration, and disease progression. I am passionate about translating scientific insights into impactful, real-world healthcare outcomes.
Beyond the lab, I believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and fresh perspectives to drive innovation. Whether through scientific discovery or teaching, I am committed to fostering an environment of learning, exploration, and impact.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. I hope my story resonates with you and opens the door for future collaboration or meaningful connection.
